Top 5 Business Apps on Android in the Middle East: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the business app landscape on the Android platform in the Middle East showcased intriguing trends. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the top five apps: Asiacell, Zoom Workplace, Microsoft Teams, Zain Iraq, and Cryptoguru: Trading Simulator.

Asiacell saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 426 in mid-November. Its weekly active users also showed a positive trend, starting at 9.2K and reaching around 9.8K by the end of December.

Zoom Workplace experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $10.6K in early December. Although the app maintained over 55K downloads initially, a decline was observed towards the end of the quarter, dropping to around 36K. Despite this, the app sustained a robust active user base, starting at 3.2M and gradually decreasing to approximately 2.8M.

Microsoft Teams maintained a steady download rate, with a peak of 65.7K in mid-November. However, the number of active users showed a downward trend, beginning at 2.7M and ending at roughly 2.2M.

Zain Iraq demonstrated a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 521 in early November. Active users saw a consistent rise from 5.1K, peaking at about 6.7K by the end of December.

Cryptoguru: Trading Simulator showed a dynamic increase in downloads, peaking at 33.7K in the last week of December. The active user base grew significantly, starting at 94.7K and climbing to 136K.
